Comfortec Heating & Air Conditioning is a locally-owned company committed to serving our customers with friendly and professional standards. After all, you are our business! If we don’t completely satisfy you with our service and products the first time, we will continue to do what it takes until you are happy. We also value our reputation and involvement in our community. Central Alberta is a great place to live, and we want to be a positive contributor to that fact. We strive to be honest, professional and courteous as a service-based company, and we support community based social endeavours. We are committed to being a reliable employer who takes a vested interest in our employees – their safety and their well-being. We are members of the Alberta Construction Safety Association and maintain a strong safety program in our company.
Brad & Wendy Johnson, Company Founders
Brad Johnson is proud to call Red Deer home. A lifelong native of Central Alberta, Brad has firmly established himself in the community as a business leader. He is a past board member of the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training program, which works to enhance the HVAC trade apprenticeship availability in Central Alberta. His involvement in local projects, both business and charity ventures, has added to his status as a community leader of integrity. Brad is active in the sport of triathlons, and enjoys the friendships and health benefits of the triathlon community.
Wendy, Brad’s wife of 30+ years, is the treasurer and bookkeeper, and looks after much of the administration duties. Brad and Wendy have two daughters, Holly and Beth, and one son, David, now married and living in Edmonton. Brad and Wendy are active in their local church community and trust God’s leading through their business and life.

Our Investment is in Our Community
We enjoy contributing to worthwhile projects and causes that enhance the quality of life for less fortunate members of our community. Potter’s Hands Ministries supplies housing, employment, meals and other services for the homeless and working poor. We also donate to Vanguard College (Christian College in Edmonton), Missions of Mercy (supplying water purification in India), churches and other Christian ministries. The MS Ride for Cancer is another favourite charity, as well as the being a Platinum sponsor for the Red Deer Triathlon Club’s annual Comfortec Du-athlon (run, bike, run).
We support the Apprenticeship Program through Alberta’s Apprenticeship and Industry Training because we understand not only the need for skilled workers, but know how meaningful employment contributes to emotional and mental health. We are members of the Red Deer Construction Association and strive to cooperate with other businesses and support them as fellow contributors in the business arena.
