We work with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training board to educate tradespeople in the HVAC industry. Our owner, Brad Johnson, is an active member on the Provincial Apprenticeship Committee. As well, we work with prospective apprentices to receive grants from other agencies to help them achieve their education goals. We also have access to excellent training opportunities through Success Group International.
Our company offers a wide variety of heating projects to give a well-rounded apprenticeship experience. We often have immediate openings for third and fourth year sheet metal apprentices. A member of the Merit Hour Bank Benefit Plan, which offers basic group life insurance, basic AD&D insurance, long-term disability, dental insurance and extended health care insurance, we also cooperate with the Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta to provide care to injured workers and modified work programs. Safety is a primary concern for our HVAC team. Management is committed to providing a safe work environment and an effective safety program for employees, suppliers, sub-trades and clients. Employees take part in weekly scheduled safety meetings, as well as employee hazard assessments and safe work standards at every site.
